I'm currently on The Telegraph's graduate scheme, where I've rotated across a number of desks. Until June I'm on a placement at the Press Association news agency where I'm working as a general reporter.I began writing for national publications in 2020. Since then, I have reported on a wide range of topics, including: the Julian Assange case, problems with Britain's criminal justice system, environmental issues like deep sea mining, and drug-dealing within royal barracks. I've profiled an "LSD specialist" who operates out of his Oxford college room, and I've written a deep-dive on the impact of the early 2000s anti-vax movement on young people. I have regularly reported on industrial action in London and have covered investitures at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle.I studied Classical Archaeology and Ancient History at Balliol College, Oxford, where I was a Moritz-Heyman scholar. I edited the Oxford Student newspaper and wrote comment articles for The Times and The Telegraph. In my final year of studies I was awarded the Ronnie Payne Prize for Foreign Reporting by the Geddes Trust. After graduating I worked as a communications officer for Oxford SU, and then as a content writer and designer for GoodCourse, a YCombinator-backed education tech startup.
